Through The Barn Doors

Series Overview

Welcome to The Barn, London's most exciting new live venue and the

setting for Through the Barn Doors, a thrilling eight-part television series

blending the electricity of live performance with the intimacy of unscripted

conversation.

Each episode takes audiences on a captivating musical journey, combining

unplugged performances, revealing interviews, and audience participation.

Rising stars and iconic supporting acts kick off the show with energy and

flair, before the spotlight shifts to a legendary A-list singer-songwriter,

delivering beloved classics, spontaneous audience requests and

unforgettable personal stories.

Hosted by celebrity broadcaster and Radio 1 legend Mike Read, the show

is filmed before a fan-filled live studio audience, whose questions and

requests help steer the conversation and the music in real time. Expect

off-the-cuff performances, moving anecdotes and rare insights into the

creative lives of the artists all wrapped in a spirit of nostalgia, discovery

and genuine connection.

We are proud to have approached some of the world's most renowned

musical icons, including but not limited to Sir Paul McCartney, Cliff Richard,

Gilbert O'Sullivan, Suzi Quatro, and Chris de Burgh, exploring their

chart-topping careers, lyrical genius and storytelling legacy.

Set against the cozy yet electric atmosphere of The Barn, Through the Barn

Doors captures the timeless power of music to unite generations. With

every episode delivering an acoustic, "unplugged" vibe, audiences

experience intimate renditions of timeless songs, often shaped by real-time

interaction.

This heartfelt celebration of music and memory will be later edited into

one-hour broadcasts, with tailored versions for international platforms

ensuring the social and historical significance of these legendary artists is

captured for generations to come.
